This year the ride will be held on Sunday the 8th of June – we hope you are able to join us.
This event is now organised by the Bracknell Charity Cycle Ride (BCCR) committee. Some of you may be aware that the 2024 was cancelled; however the BCCR committee have worked tirelessly to re-launch the event in 2025 with a few changes.
What Has Changed and What Has Not
- The on-line enrolment fees have not changed. An 18 or over rider will be £20. For under 18 riders on the date of the ride the fee will be £1. We are offering on-line Early Bird enrolment discount. All riders 18 or over on the day of the ride will receive a 20% discount if you enrol in February, enrol in March and you will receive a 10% discount. Enrolment on the day will be £25 for riders aged 18 or over and £1 for under 18 riders.
- We have tweaked the three rides of 15 miles, 34 miles and 52 miles to make them more family friendly by reducing the amount of hill climbing and increasing the time on quieter roads.
- You can now ride for whichever charity is most important to you. Money we raise above the event costs and necessary seed money for a 2026 event will, this year, go to Garth Hill College Parent Teacher Friends Association (PTFA).
- To make the event more sustainable we have changed the medals to wooden, however we will still have a few of the previous metal medals which you can choose on the day. The environmental cost of cotton and the amount of wasted T-shirts after each 3CCR event has driven us to stopping T-shirts for any further events.
